The Meal Preps ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

• Payment information (processed securely via Stripe)

If you call us, Chef Sage, our AI assistant, may answer and can connect you with our team. Calls may be recorded or transcribed, and voicemails are stored, so we can help you and keep accurate records.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect:

• Device information (browser type, operating system)
• IP address and location data
• Usage data (pages visited, time spent)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies
• Anonymous Chef Sage chat usage events (open/close, turn counts, tool usage, error codes) used to improve the assistant. We do not store the text of chat messages from guests in this analytics log.

• Send order confirmations and delivery updates

• Advertising Partners: We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. These tools receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed, bowls added to a cart and purchases, and, when you are signed in or check out, a hashed version of your email, phone number, name and address.

We do not sell your personal information for money. California law treats the advertising use above as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. See Section 9.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and check the consent box during account signup, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from The Meal Preps, including account verification codes, order and delivery updates, account notifications, and optional meal-planning help from our Chef Sage assistant. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOPto any message; reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@themealpreps.com. After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending texts to that number.

We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging service providers (such as our SMS carrier and platform) strictly as needed to deliver the messages you have requested.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. We do share information with the advertising partners described in Section 4, which California law treats as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To opt out, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Your choice is stored in your browser and, if you are signed in, on your account. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out. When you opt out, we stop loading the Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags in your browser and we instruct Meta to process anything it receives about you under its Limited Data Use setting. 10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or website notice.
